Roan Mountain Engagement - Stephen & Amanda

Stephen and Amanda get married this weekend and I'm excited for their intimate backyard celebration. We hiked around Roan Mountain, Tennessee for their engagement pictures and the beautiful weather and sunset didn't disappoint. I loved getting to know their sweet story and we got lost in lots of conversations about life and love. It was hard to narrow down but here are some of my favorites from our time together!

Black Balsam Engagement - Cam & Lacey

We met up for their engagement session a few days before Cam was leaving on deployment abroad. We explored the mountain tops nearly getting knocked over by the crazy winds that day (which I think made for some beautiful wind swept images!) Lacey and Cam soaked up that beautiful sunset and enjoyed the time connecting together. Black Balsam can be a busy place, but we were the only people there that day, up in the clouds and on top of the world. Loved capturing such a special time in your lives you two!

Savannah Ships of the Sea Wedding - Will & Karli

Ships of the Sea Wedding Savannah

You may remember Will & Karli from their sweet engagement session as we explored Savannah. I was excited to be back among the sleepy ancient streets lined with Spanish moss for their wedding which took place at the gorgeous and historic Ships of the Sea Museum. Will & Karli's love for one another is as natural as breathing. They soaked up the warmth of the golden sunset and all the friends and family who gathered in celebration. Special thanks to Julia for traveling with me and helping me photograph the day!

- Will and his groomsmen walked to The Grey for cocktails and toasts before arriving to the venue. It was the perfect way to relax with his closest friends before the wedding festivities.

- During the first look, Karli peeked around the hedges and sprinted towards Will directly into his arms. They then read emotional letters to each other out loud privately in the garden.

- At the reception, Karli's Father had a giant portrait of one of her middle school pictures presented on an easel as part of his speech (with a sheet unveiling and all). Through the happy tears she mouthed "i love you" and blew him a kiss with both hands extended out in love and admiration. It was a sweet moment that left me in a puddle.
